Newbie Navagates The Cyber Art World

Hi, my name is Laurette Escobar and I'm new to Fine Art America. In fact, I'm new to publicizing my work on the web. I have another website, http://artbylaurette.webs.com/ and I have got to say that Fine Art America is far more user friendly and, from all the features I’ve seen, it looks like it will be a helpful tool to increase exposure for my work and my sales.

My work largely depends on my mood. Rarely, will my work include any TRUE realism (except what little photography I do). I am mostly abstract and I do boarder on the surreal in some instances. I find that if I let my imagination wander and I turn off rational thought, I am much happier with my work. Sometimes I just have to let the canvas tell me what it is, where it’s going and sometimes that is all dictated by the supplies I’m using at the time.

I hope you all take a look at my work here at FAA and if you have any critique, I welcome it (as long as its constructive).

Thank you all for...
