I was working on doing a sunset piece for a friend of mine and I didn't like it. I've been thinking of the environment lately and all the ways we're killing our world and I just really didn't want to do a cliche sunset. That's what my friend wanted, I wasn't feeling it. So this is what I came up with. First came the tree, then I started painting a head that turned into a crystal ball and then I set it down on a funky table and added the cushions. The truck driving off in the distance was a person originally but I didn't like it. I'm happy with this piece because I think it really has something to say.
